If you look at the newspaper ads, you can often find things on sale that maybe you hadn’t intended on buying right now, but the price is right and you just can’t turn down the bargain. A home improvement center is there to cater to your every question.You can find many different products in a home improvement center that you might not be able to find in other stores because most stores carry what ever type of products you would use to not only fix, build or repair a home, but what you would use in and around the home as well. Now I’m going to start off with talking about researching. Although I am starting off with discussing researching, I believe that in the end, coming up with a design or name for your clothing line is the most important and finding the right name or correct design won’t happen if you haven’t did your homework on what slang, lingo, and designs are the best sellers in the fashion world. When looking for the hottest lingos and designs that are out at a certain time or season you need to enter the fashion world. What does that mean? That means that you need to window shop. Go to the stores in your same design field and see what they have in their stores. I would go to the stores and places that are well known places to shop because those will be the stores that are most successful. Look what types of trends they have, unique styles they use, even the type of material they use so you can put ideas in your head of the type of material and designs you would like to use when creating your clothing.Then after you have an idea on what your strategy is going to be when creating your clothing, you will need to go to the next step by checking out what’s going on in the social media. That means looking at the latest fashions in magazines and looking at the trends that celebrities are wearing. By doing this you can scope out what the hottest fashions and designs they are wearing because what the celebrities wear is what everyone else is going to want to wear. Designing clothing mirroring what these A-list celebs are wearing would most likely be a great seller for your design. You also should watch the latest shows on MTV, VH1, and other TV shows in that genre because it has been proven that they always wear the hottest new brands and clothing at all times. Also those shows have all the new hip sayings and lingos being used in today’s society which could be helpful when coming up with a cool hip name for your brand.Once you have done all your research you can start designing and naming your new clothing line. When making a name for your clothing line you want to make sure you address a few things. First, you need a name that describes your brand of clothing. Then you need to make sure that it is catchy so that when someone walks by it and sees the name it will grab new customer’s attention. Secondly, you want to make sure that your name is unique and not just a saying that you heard on the streets, TV, etc. Let’s take the word swag for example. A lot of young people have been using this catchy phrase to describe a person’s style of how they dress or present themselves in the past year and you think you want to make that your name brand for your clothing. You would not just call it swag you would make up some type of hip combination of words with swag in it to make it unique and eye catching. Some examples of that could be like “LA Swag City” or “Swag R US”. Names like that will give you the unique authentic look you will want for your clothing brand to be a hit.Now when it comes to picking a clothing style you have to pick a type of image you want your brand to be. Do you want it to be a skater look or a preppy look? Do you want your clothing to be men’s clothing only, women’s clothing only, or unisex? These are the types of questions you will need to consider when you make your design. If you’re selling preppy clothing with a complete skateboard theme it will confuse customers and may not sell as well. All these questions need to be considered before you design your brand. When you finally design your brand, have picked what category of style you want it to be, and have everything ready to go in creating your clothing line you will have one more obstacle to face. That is getting your clothing out there for everyone to see. Starting off normally people don’t have the money to just open up their store. So what you do is you start putting your clothes online for everyone to see.The most important thing you should do first is start a website for your clothing so people can shop and buy your clothing online. After that you should promote your clothing by making a social media page for every social media engine that is out right now. That means Facebook page, Twitter page, Instagram, Vine, etc. That way people will get to see your clothing, groups of people will begin to talk about your clothing line amongst each other, and eventually it will create brand awareness and draw customers to your store. Coming up with a new design is always trial and error so do not get discouraged if your first design doesn’t sell right away. Once you get the hang of it, after time, your products will get better and sell more with the more practice you have. I think all designs are unique and cool in their own way but without a catchy name and good marketing skills your designs will be useless
